Everything you ever wanted to know about Belgian beer
Belgium is a small country, but there is nothing small production of beers and ales. In fact, since the Middle Ages, Belgium has had a reputation for producing beers quality, and have influenced the beer and brewing in many other countries including the United States.

Red beers are barley red - they also combine sweet and sour flavors in a unique blend that is sometimes described as fruity.
Golden Beers are something as a quiet beer, but are made from pale malt and hops and ale yeast. The original Pilsner beer came from Bohemia, located in the Czech Republic. It is very soft and has a thick white head. The flavor is slightly spicy with a little bitterness. A pilsner usually has a content of five percent alcohol.
The oldest beer breweries in Belgium are actually the Trappist monks, using methods and recipes that have been passed down through the centuries to Trappist beers clearly. There are six different monasteries Trappest currently stand on brewing. These include Orval, Achel, Chimay, Westyleteren, Rochefort and Westmalle. The beers that do usually have the name of the monastery.
Abbey beers are also produced in Belgium. In most cases, the beers are not produced in the monasteries, but there may be a business relationship in an abbey of contracts of a commercial brewery to produce some beer. abbey beers include Duvel, Leffe, Kwak, Affligem, Corsendonk, Grimbergen and Karmeliet.
Currently, Belgium has about one hundred to twenty-five different breweries producing about five hundred beers. Sold in two small cafes that can only a few marks much bigger bar that could be a thousand or more classes. The Belgians are masters when it comes to brewing and have an appreciation for the quality pilsner, beers, ales and lagers. You can find almost any flavor as well, raspberry, strawberry or chocolate.
