Modern Floor Lamps, like lava lamps

What are the lava lamps. Its popularity for years in the sixties and seventies. Lava lamps are back.

The era of the sixties and seventies will not go down in history as the era of good taste. But among all the crazy trends those decades is that I still hold a fond remembrance for: lava lamp. If you are too young to remember the lava lamps. I will describe one. Image of an undulating glass tube. filled with viscous liquid found in the most amazing color of purple. neon green. pink. Packages etc. some Blobby floating material through this mass of color as they waved in the tube. Sounds nice. Right? However. whenever I was around a lava lamp. I would hypnotized by the colors that rotate slowly and floaters. I found it very relaxing and further broaden the experience with the scent of incense and the sound of music sitar. I felt like lava lamps are a harmless way to relax and chill out.

Lava lamps are still available today. and I imagine being procured by the children of the sixties to recreate that time or today's youth who enjoy a retro style. Despite their inherent ugliness. I still find them relaxing and strangely comforting. Perhaps they equate to an age when he was still young. optimistic and had dreams. I even thought about buying one. know very well that would conflict with everything in my house. I do not know how I would explain to calm. Ikea decorated friends. The appeal of contrast? An ironic comment? When you think about it. I realize that it would be a good idea. In those days. Could afford to sit aroud in a dream state, today. I have too done. The modern version of the lava lamp plasma lamp. They do not have the appeal of the lava lamps for me. It seems like something out of a laboratory science or a clinical trial. Lava lamps have a personal appeal. almost with a soul of its own. The best were the purple. especially if viewed while listening to Purple Jimi Hendrix 'Haze. I think we can make judgments about someone valid character according to their preferred color lava lamp. Some psychologist should make a study on it.

The lava lamp was invented by Craven Walker. and is rumored. Like most great inventions. as vulcanization and post-it notes. came by accident. He was certainly aware that he invented the symbol of a culture and an era. While lava lamps are intended for fun. be sure to read any warning labels on a lava lamp. An impatient (and stupid) man failed to do so. with serious consequences. In 2004. this young gentleman bought a lava lamp and I wanted it begins to bubble immediately twists and turns. Instead of waiting for it to warm up normally. put it on a burner. and the glass broke and a piece of it pierced his heart. Still others try to make their own lava lamps. and are really looking for trouble.
