Old Oil Painting unsigned / without a license and lilies?
I have an old oil painting of lilies and pond. It is not dated or signed, however, pre-1900 is easy. It has a beautiful wooden frame, painted white with gold accents. I can say that there has ever been reformulated. This is where I come into play Still question marks worth nothing without and with a small tear in the fabric? The frame is also slightly damaged by storage and age. Do not see anything like this. It is brilliant in color at all. It is above all a dull blue and green. It is not in depth. It is also about 16 "high x approximately 26" wide. Has only 4 lilies up close and the background is the sky and the lake of pale blue and gray. There are a few green bushes and things in the left corner, but very dull in color.

Some paintings are valuable not have a signature, although Most artists seem to sign. It could even be a copy. Sometimes, a good value given context, but not always. Perhaps your local art museum to look at it for you?
