Wine and Chocolate a perfect match

Wine and chocolate seem to be two of the world's food comforting. A good glass of wine can make any meal seem more romantic, any bad day a little better and every lonely night a little warmer. A good dose of chocolate that has scared off many cases of bad break-blues, tamed the savagery of a day trying to please the boss, and kept many a single girl to mourn to sleep. Now, suppose that once a time when admitting you Pinot Noir linked with its Hershey bar could have done serious and you seem pathetically hopeless. Society, however, has finally realized that our two self-indulgences are favorites for each other. The geniuses of society and trendsetters have stolen the lonely girl perfect night, transforming it into a fun and cool the night out - wine and chocolate party.

It does not take a connoisseur to participate in the latest fashion to hit a bar of chocolate from wrappers aluminum. You do not have to know whether white or red wine goes better with a rib eye steak well. You do not have to know your Californians of their Italian Australian. Or your dry white, well, everything is not. All you have to do is be a good matchmaker.

Organize a party wine and chocolate is a bit like being a good matchmaker. Each Yenta has his "list" of eligible bachelors to choose convenient. Each host wine and chocolate should have a similar list. You can start with the wine, or you can start chocolates - it really does not matter. I suggest you go with what you feel most comfortable. If you do not know Chablis Champagne, begin with sweet things. If you are unsure what those percentage of the number of cocoa are telling you, the better success the first winery. Either way you go, you can not lose the time you choose sweeter wines and / or a variety of chocolates. You want both red and white wines and some bubbles. On the chocolate side of things, try to select back and forth across the spectrum - black, milk, white, and some of the intermediaries.

White chocolate may seem a misnomer and I am sure Montezuma and the rest of their cocoa pioneer band the Aztecs would probably be scared to death of things pale and ghostly. It has, however, on its own merits world of chocolate. Its light, smooth, buttery cream helps to maintain a place among its darker cousins, despite their lack of cocoa butter real. I guess you could that was the pinnacle of engineering chocolate. What goes better with the things that are the tops of the lists - from the winning jockey for the New Year? Why Champagne, of course! Now, you do not need the "real" things in the French region of Champagne. A pleasant domestic sparkling will do the trick as well. If you and your guests are in the mood for something a little noble and different, try a good Sherry. If a more subtle taste experience desired link white chocolate with a cream or chocolate liquor is sure to delight the palette.

Milk chocolate may seem too common for a party. After all, the U.S. has been favorite since Milton Hershey chocolate as in the 1890s, right? It is so common, each man's experience that makes a wonderful addition their wine and chocolate party, especially if all or most of your guests has never been in one before. The softer, less complex flavor and aroma of chocolate milk as make it a perfect pairing with Merlot, Pinot Noir or tawny port. Port has a walnut candy shades praise of milk chocolate, while the darker wines will draw your hand cream, chocolate subtle perfection.

Semisweet chocolate, 50 to 69% cocoa, have a spicy, fruity, earthy note to your liking. What wine is associated with them depends on which of these tones you want to highlight. Zinfandel wines accentuate side of hot chocolate, set the mood for a mambo in mouth. A good Cabernet Sauvignon is certainly the fruitiness of the chocolate. Beaujolais can also serve very well to highlight the many fruity tones semisweet chocolates.

Dark or bittersweet chocolate is the queen of chocolate in the world. Much has been touted in relation to their health benefits. Par benefits with health factors reported to induce wine and you need an excuse for a party? We can say we're doing for our health! The black chocolate is classified as having 70% or more cocoa content. This large amount of cocoa is responsible for the good "for you" factor, and gives the black chocolate, rich, woody flavor. Most of these wines that go well with semi-sweet chocolate also make peace with his cousin darker side. For a real treat, try pairing a good black chocolate with a good cognac. Orange Muscat goes well with almost any chocolate, but the darker the sweeter, the better the Muscat seems to be. Rich flavors, woodsy dark chocolates own peers very well with almost all the strong, red wine, so try a Shiraz or Nebbiolo in the mix, too.

A successful wine and chocolate party will offer a dozen sweet chocolate varieties and the same number of pairs of wine. Variety is the key. Do not just go with the bars of plain old chocolate, either. Dip a piece of fruit in chocolate - strawberries in white would be heavenly with champagne / sparkling wine. Enjoy some truffles -. Salado feelings also go well with wine, so perhaps a some chocolate covered nuts or pretzels would be a good addition to the menu. For a quick and easy game on the fly, ask each guest to provide treatment one of the categories of chocolate (white, milk, semisweet or dark.) Then make a selection of wines to match what delights on foot through your door. Put some jazz on the stereo and drink and drink their way into a fun night comfortable, tasty delight. Chocolate and wine do not have to be for those who alone in the back again!
