Does anyone know where (in the United Kingdom) for a lamp bulb touch coming in three levels of light?
I live in Liverpool. I have Contact a lamp that the light (for) comes in three levels of brightness from touching the metal part of the lamp. The light has burned. I have tried regular bulbs light and stay only, not to delight or darken and the light goes out. So I'm thinking I need a special light bulb for it, but no lighting stores know anything about bulbs for touch lamps. The bulb does not say anything at the top, as regular bulbs but says N805019B 240/60 on the metal bayonet. Any body know where I could find a light bulb. I like to throw the light is magnificent. Thank you for your help.
Sorry sounds like your light is on the blink. If you are using a regular light bulb with a metal fillament then it should dim. rubbing of the lamp simply alters the flow current to the bulb to be altering the brightness. If you are using a compact fluorescent lamp (spiral thin tube) then only run on a voltage / current and is not attenuated. Keep the lamp at full brightness and adjust the light to change progressively dark sunglasses as the state determines of mind!
