does my recipe for a bundt cake have to be altered if i make it non-bundt?
this is the recipe-
cooking spray
1 (18 1/4 ounce) package yellow cake mix
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 cup sour cream
2/3 cup vegetable oil
4 large eggs
1 (12 ounce) bag miniature semisweet chocolate chips
should i reduce the amount of anything if i wish to cook it in a regular cake pan? thanks
Same thing. You can cook it in anything you choose. Toothpick test for doneness.
Try this instead of flour to coat after the non-stick spray to keep it from sticking to the pan use sugar. It gives it a nice texture and glossy appearance when taken out of the pan. This works well especially if you are going to ice it because it binds the cake and prevents it from crumbling when you do ice.
