How do you dispose of food and lamp oil properly?
i have an old lamp that has been sitting on my porch all winter. the oil froze a few times [im from chicago], and i dont want to try and use it. how do i dispose of it properly?
also, oils and fats from food....i kno they arent supposed to go down the drain. i just got a george forman grill and im wondering where im going to put the oil and fat that drips down??
If your oil froze there is probably water in it. I would use the lamp until all the oil is used up. Don't dump it outside, it will only seep into the ground and get into your local groundwater.
Do you have a dog? They just love a little grease poured over their dry food. Not too much at a time or they'll get too fat! LOL!
