well i am fixing to move and I'm trying to think of a "theme" to go to the kitchen .. I do not want

what everyone seems to be at roosters, apples, grapes, etc. .. Can you think of a single issue .... thought of the Morton Salt girl, but to get their stuff would be expensive .... any ideas? I willing as a country kitchen looking ole ....

I would say, stay away from the issues. Unless you already have a collection you like and want to display, Thematic cuisine seems too artificial and "matchy-matchy." Another problem with the issues is people who do not know what else to buy that will go to themed gifts and before you have elephants out your ears! Try to think in terms of color and style in place. Choose the color first - that I love you and not tired of. Then think about what style you really are. If you are conservative and traditional and contemporary outgoing, old-fashioned and sentimental etc. ..? If you are unsure, do research, buy some food magazines, visit http://design.hgtv.com/kitchen/ kitchens, and ask your friends what style that most accurately represents you.
