you can cook on top of the stove and heat in oven vintage enamel?

I love enamel and want to pick up and use, but is not sure I can .. Anyone have an answer? Thanks

Yes, you can use with some precautions:) I use the glaze in the oven without any problem in any way ~ I have a toaster for about 100 years and never had a problem with it. glazed at the top of the stove is a little harder ~ frankly, unless you are boiling the water or make the soup, enamel is simply not practical for daily use stove top. The food has a tendency to stick to the base, either baked or burn. After a while, the bases to get deformed and not flat over, either. One of my kettles, even after a leak 2 years of continuous use. To top of the stove, I just use boiled egg glaze, heat the soup, homemade preserves, or make coffee or tea. Enamel is one of those utensils that are beautiful to show that actually use:)
