What do you think about selling products for companies as an independent contractor?
Recently I posted? on Avon. But I know about all of them! I have to get some extra cash flow so I'm investigating. Right now I'm thinking about anything except for those companies that sell products sex. I am a single mother of a 4 year old and I'm not approriate to have their products in my home. You know how 4 year olds can be ... AT ALL! Time work complete, go to school 9 credit hours per semester, and I am a single mother. So I think this may be better for me than like getting a second job conventional time: 1.) Have you ever sold Mary Kay, PartyLite, Pampered Chef, Tupperware, or a company not listed here? Avon 2) How longer you stay w / the company? If you still w / them, for how long? 3) How much or what to do on average? What is the profit percentage? 4) How difficult is it? How long / you have to invest? 5) What is the startup cost? I know I'm asking too many questions, but as I said, I'm investigating. Thanks in advance!
I sold Avon and I am currently selling PartyLite Avon about a year and in my area most the world sells Avon, so I really do not see much of a benefit. You really have to work hard to try to become a leader and motivate people beneath you to have a certain amount of sales, so you can make money with them. PartyLite for me is sooooo much better! You go to peoples houses and PARTY! You can not get any better. You are with alotta new people and if the same percentage, no matter how much you make. I do not really much work at all. The goods do not even go home for you does not even have to worry about distribution to customers. Go directly to the hostess house. Besides having a great host to many offers you will not have a book problom parties. On average I make about 80.00 every 2 weeks the sale of Avon. Avon percentage varies from the amount sold. On average I do about a party at 100.00 Partylite I usually do two parties a week (they only work Friday nights and Saturdays). So half 400.00 every 2 weeks with PartyLite. LOVE ME !!!!! You make 25% of its sales so for example if you have 10 girls at a party and all the girls $ 40.00 purchase merchandise that is 400.00, so that gives you a profit 100.00. Plus if you sell 2,000 in a month (if you do 2 shows a week at 400.00 on a show that should not have to get problom 2,000) that the premium and give it a check 7% of its sales so if you have 8 shows in 400.00 a show that is 3200 to PartyLite sends you a check for 224.00 !!!!! I feel for Avon like a little slower because more deadlines to meet and the merchandise is delivered to you so then I had to go for people who pay and give them orders there. PartyLite think it's much easier and less time can even just make a game a week is just so much easier. For Avon has to pay 10.00 to start with PartyLite not have to pay NOTHING !!!!!!! All you have to do is have a boot program 350.00 and you get your starter kit. and more than anything 350.00 dollar for dollar you get the merchandise of your choice!
