To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Bauhaus designed Form 1382 by Dr. Hermann Gretsch, Arzberg teasets produced 500 of the black.
Each piece has a special anniversary ringing and the teapot is numbered.

The company Arzberg, since 1887 has represented the highest quality in materials and design. Known for his simple, unpretentious flyers, so timeless as to always remain contemprary. Heinrich Schumann, originating Angelroda (Thuringia), had a small pottery in Arzberg he had to close because the road was newly built railroad. The railroad was completed in November 1879 and Arzberg connected with the railway network.
In 1931, Arzberg Form 1382 set the benchmark for modern tableware. Now celebrating its 75th anniversary and its design has changed. As with his contemporaries at the Bauhaus, Dr.Ing. Hermann Gretsch relied on the form and function to guide design. Its mission was to create a soup that can be emptied with a spoon.
