I bet you didn't know that you could lose weight while eating a whopping 5 pounds of hamburger each week. It may sound surprising to you, but it's true.

In this article, I'm going to show you the exact way you can manipulate your body to lose weight while eating 5 or more pounds of hamburger a week.

First off, go to your local grocery store and buy a box or bag of 20 hamburger patties (each one being 1/4 pounds). This will cost you about $5.50 at Wal-Mart. So there's your 5 pounds of hamburger for the week.

Next, if you can't stand eating the same or similar foods often, then stop reading. This article isn't for you. Now, for those of you who've stayed, I have a proven way to lose weight while eating the "All-American" favorite... hamburger.

Here's how it works.

You will have 3 meals a day that consist of 1 hamburger patty that is 1/4 pound. Ideally, you'd have a George Foreman type of grill or some other portable mini-grill to cook the hamburgers on to save time.

Next, you'll have to buy about 2-3 heads of lettuce to last you through the week. The idea is simple. You will create a "hamburger salad" and eat it at every meal.

Yes, I know some of you don't like eating the same thing over and over. If you want to lose weight, then get over it. There are many ways you can spice this up and use different low calorie sauces or dressings to change the flavor.

I personally use either 2 tablespoons of sour cream or 2 tablespoons of spaghetti sauce with oregano to change up the flavor.

Now, I pre-make the lettuce in that I do this... I have 6 bowls of tupperware. I cut up the lettuce and put them into the 6 bowls ahead of time and put them in the fridge. This will last me for 2 days. Next, when I'm ready to eat, I get the frozen hamburger patty out of the freezer and cook it.

Once it's done, I cut it up into small pieces and mix into 1 bowl of the lettuce. I then add the sour cream or spaghetti sauce.

One thing you can do is change it up and make "hamburger soup". You get a broth and cut up some celery, carrots, or whatever and make a homemade soup. Then add in the 1 hamburger patty. I personally don't do this, but I'm sure it'll work just as good.

For those of you wondering, I've consistently lost between 2-3 pounds in a week of doing this. It's kinda extreme and not for everyone. I get the urge to do it about 3-4 times a year. Again, I've gotten consistent weight loss results using this method.

You can change things up a bit. Maybe have this for 2 meals and something else for your third meal. Whatever. I'm just giving you a brief overview of how to do it. If you're hungry between meals, eat apples, black olives, grapefruit, or yogurt.

So if you're interested in losing weight using a unique method, I urge you to give this a try or make your own version of this. Just have an open mind when it comes to weight loss. There are many different ways to lose weight. Everything isn't set in stone.
