It is October now. Do you know it is the Breast Cancer Awareness Month? To support the Breast Cancer Foundation, the Italian luxury fashion house Salvatore Ferragamo specially released Ferragamo Pink Collection to raise funds for beneficence. The collection consists of a wide range of shoes, Salvatore Ferragamo handbags, T-shirts, sunglasses and accessories, all bearing the brand’s signature gancino  icon and colored with sweet pink palette. The prices range from $256 to $1,050. What’s more, adorned with lovely crystals courtesy of Swarovski Elements, the dazzling collection is really the irresistable line for young girls.

The Pink Collection will go on sale in October, designated at selected Ferragamo boutiques in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, India and Australia. It is said that at least 10% of the sales will go to breast cancer charities and foundations to support the breast cancer victims.   

In addition, it introduced a limited edition with an evening clutch in ultra-soft leather embossed with mini-Varas, and a matching pair of sandals which evoke Ferragamo’s 1956 vintage Cage Heel sandals in metal filigree and covered in crystals. It is up for grabs in a silent auction from 1st to 31st October 2009. The starting bid for the silent auction starts at $4,240, with full proceeds donated to the Foundation as well.
